Haley Qualman
Haley facilitates PHP and IOP groups and works with adolescents and adults for individual and family therapy. Her areas of specialization also include depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and addiction. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). Her favorite aspects of her work are helping people discover their life is worth living and helping families and individuals heal generational wounds.
Prior to Luna, Haley was a therapist at a residential facility for adolescents. She was also a fellow at the Council on Recovery, where she served as a co-facilitator for the substance-use IOP for adults.
Haley received her undergraduate degree in international relations and economics at the University of Texas at Austin. After undergrad, she worked at a grocery store, where she formed close friendships with people from different backgrounds. This experience helped her realize that her passion is in human connection. She completed her master’s in social work at the University of Houston, and her clinical internship at Baylor College of Medicine, where she facilitated experiential learning groups for adolescents on probation. She found social work the perfect intersection of her past studies and lifelong love of helping others.
In her free time, Haley enjoys interior design, thrifting, and crafts. On the weekends, she enjoys supporting local LGBTQ+ businesses and caring for her pets and plants.
