Emma Hightower
Emma works with clients in Luna’s PHP, IOP, and aftercare programs. In addition to facilitating group therapy sessions and providing individual counseling, she facilitates alumni meetings, conducts thorough follow-ups, and plans unifying events.
Emma's genuine interest in the human experience and our collective capacity for growth fuels her passion for guiding individuals through their recovery journey, whether it's their initial attempt or a tune-up. At Luna, she creates a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment that holds space for all life experiences. Adapting her approach to each client’s needs, she thrives on helping individuals learn and evolve into their best selves through therapeutic relationships built on trust and understanding. Beyond therapeutic guidance, Emma makes a difference by providing supportive companionship throughout the recovery process. She believes in creating a space where individuals can explore their potential and achieve lasting positive change.
Before Luna, Emma worked in mental health program building and public health. She completed both her bachelor’s and Master of Social Work degrees at Texas Tech University. Outside of her professional life, Emmas cherishes spending time with loved ones, including her three tiny dogs. She loves exploring the Houston food scene and cheering on the Astros.
