Jamickia Lazard RN

Jamickia is a Registered Nurse (RN) at Luna Residential Treatment Center, where she supports individuals on their recovery journey with compassion, patience, and respect. She brings a broad clinical background to her role, with experience in addiction recovery, medical-surgical nursing, oncology, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. These experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded nurse who values meeting each client exactly where they are.

At Luna, Jamickia's responsibilities include medication administration, detox treatment planning, focused clinical assessments, and ongoing monitoring. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Nursing and Exercise Science. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intravenous (IV) Therapy. She is committed to ongoing learning and continues to seek opportunities for growth, focusing strongly on strengthening her clinical skills and staying current with best practices in nursing care.

Known for her calm, caring approach, Jamickia strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where clients feel heard and empowered as they navigate the detox and recovery process. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and relaxing by the lake.
