Kathleen Park
Kathleen Park founded Luna Recovery Services with her husband, Robert Park, to support individuals and their families in navigating a path toward wholeness and leading a recovered life.
Kathleen is passionate about infusing Luna clients’ experiences with the intangible qualities that she believes are essential to recovery: love, compassion, warmth, and spirit. She feels deeply connected to each staff member and the work that they do, and she believes that the staff’s positive energy is vital to clients’ healing.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in food management from Texas Christian University. She received her Master of Arts in addiction counseling in 2011 from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies in Center City, Minnesota. She is a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma. Kathleen is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She has experience working in the treatment of mental health and addiction and utilizes various methodologies in her approach to helping others.
In her spare time, Kathleen can be found playing outdoors with her two sons, Wilder and Rowan, running and spending quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys meditation, yoga, breathwork, and other forms of self-inquiry, exploration, and expansion. She loves reading, journaling, and growing as an individual, mother, wife, professional, friend, and leader.
