Support Groups
Support for Families
Wednesdays, 6-8 pmOur free, weekly Family Support Group is provided for families affected by substance use disorder. A licensed marriage and family counselor facilitates each session, where confidentiality and trust are prioritized to ensure a comfortable and open atmosphere for all participants.
Topics of discussion vary weekly and may focus on understanding addiction and mental health, processing difficult situations, improving communication among family members, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, what the family can do to be supportive, and more. The group provides participants with a forum to experience connection with others facing similar challenges.
Support for Our Alumni
Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pmOur Alumni Support Group offers ongoing support and camaraderie for clients who have completed a treatment program at Luna. In weekly sessions led by an experienced facilitator, the group provides space for participants to share their experiences, challenges, and successes on the path to sustained recovery. Topics of focus may also include relapse prevention and recovery protection strategies, coping mechanisms, and healthy lifestyle choices.
The positive influence of our alumni community can be a significant factor in a client's ongoing success. The group serves as a source of inspiration and motivation, and fosters a sense of community among participants.
