Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who facilitates weekend group therapy in Luna's Residential Program. She specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating recovery, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma.
Kim believes meaningful change begins with understanding the patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. She partners with clients to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting change that aligns with their values and goals. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and evidence based, fostering a space where clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered throughout the healing process.
Kim earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and her Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma informed approaches. She integrates these evidence based modalities to help clients process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys traveling, exploring Houston's diverse culinary scene, spending time with family and friends, staying active, and planning her next adventure.
