Licensed Vocational Nurse
Imani began a nursing career in Houston, Texas, after completing Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) education at the College of Health Care Professions. Since then, Imani has gained experience in psychiatric nursing, correctional mental health, substance abuse treatment, and detoxification care, working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health and medical challenges. A background in psychology has shaped Imani's understanding of patient care and strengthened a passion for behavioral health and addiction medicine. Committed to continued growth, Imani is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Western Governors University while working as a nurse, with the goal of expanding clinical knowledge and making a lasting difference in the lives of patients.
Imani believes healing and recovery begin with the right support, feeling understood, and being in an environment that feels safe and comfortable. Because every journey is different, Imani meets people where they are, without judgment. This approach to care is calm, patient, and understanding, while also providing the structure and consistency that recovery requires. Experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment has shown Imani that simply listening and showing genuine care can make a real difference, so the focus stays on building trust, having open conversations, educating patients, and encouraging them as they work toward becoming healthier versions of themselves.
At Luna Integrative Care, Imani brings this compassionate, patient-centered approach to every client, helping each person feel respected, supported, and understood throughout recovery.
Our compassionate admissions team is available from 8am-10pm to help you begin your journey to recovery.
