Ongoing Recovery Community
Our Alumni Program connects graduates of Luna's treatment programs with a supportive community of peers, ongoing resources, and continued care to support long-term recovery and wellness.
Lifelong Support
Completing treatment is a significant milestone in recovery, but maintaining long-term sobriety requires ongoing support and connection. Research consistently shows that individuals who stay connected to a recovery community after treatment have significantly higher rates of sustained sobriety. Luna's Alumni Program provides a space where graduates can maintain meaningful relationships, celebrate successes, and support one another through the challenges of life in recovery.
The Luna Alumni Program welcomes all graduates of our treatment programs, including those who completed residential treatment, PHP, IOP, or outpatient care. Whether you completed treatment recently or years ago, you remain a valued member of the Luna community. The program is designed to support alumni at every stage of their recovery journey, from those just transitioning out of treatment to those celebrating many years of sobriety.
Luna's Alumni Program offers a variety of resources and opportunities to support continued growth and wellness. Alumni have access to regular support group meetings where they can connect with peers who understand the recovery journey. These meetings provide a safe space to share experiences, discuss challenges, and celebrate milestones in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
The program includes alumni social events and gatherings throughout the year, creating opportunities for fellowship and fun in recovery. Educational workshops and wellness activities help alumni continue developing skills and maintaining balance in their lives. Alumni also receive ongoing communication from Luna, including a newsletter with recovery resources, upcoming events, and inspiring stories from the community.
Alumni remain part of the Luna family and can access our clinical team if additional support is needed. Whether facing a challenging time, wanting to explore continuing therapy, or simply needing to talk with someone who understands, Luna's doors remain open. This ongoing connection provides a safety net and reinforces that help is always available when needed.
Many alumni find meaning and purpose in giving back by sharing their experience with current clients. Through mentorship opportunities and participation in panel discussions, alumni provide hope and inspiration to those earlier in their recovery journey. This aspect of service not only benefits current clients but strengthens the recovery of alumni themselves.
Joining or reconnecting with Luna's Alumni Program is simple. Alumni can attend support group meetings, register for upcoming events, or reach out to our team to learn more about current opportunities. We encourage all graduates to stay connected, as the relationships and support found in the alumni community are invaluable assets in maintaining long-term recovery and building a fulfilling life in sobriety.

Alumni recovery programs help people continue their recovery process by offering peer support, recovery resources and continuing community ties.
Peer support reduces feelings of loneliness, promotes responsibility and offers helpful advice from individuals who are familiar with the healing process.
To improve coping mechanisms, control stress and promote continuous healing following treatment, many people continue individual or group therapy.
During the recovery process, maintaining regular contact with a recovery community promotes healthy routines, emotional support and ongoing personal development.
Clients and their families are always welcome at Luna. We do regular follow-up calls after a client completes their programming. Each week we hold a free family support group led by our licensed family and marriage therapist. We also have an alumni group that meets each week that is led by a therapist. We know that recovery is a lifelong process and we want clients to always feel like they are a part of Luna.
Our compassionate admissions team is available from 8am-10pm to help you begin your journey to recovery.
