Brigitte Tidwell
Brigitte provides sleep health coaching sessions and HRV biofeedback sessions for patients, helps record brain scans, and assists recovery advocates as needed. She also helped design the Pathways to Sleep matrix, which gives practitioners guidelines on behavioral changes that can improve their patients’ sleep quality.
After completing an undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Baylor University, Brigitte worked at The B.E.T. Center. She then moved to Houston to work for Dr. Ron Swatzyna at the Houston Neuroscience Brain Center as a personal assistant, research assistant, and neurofeedback technician. After starting the master of science program in clinical mental health counseling at the University of St. Thomas, she interned at LG Counseling.
Certified as a life coach, Brigitte enjoys listening to patients, sharing life skills, and using multiple treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has also presented at events such as the Biofeedback Society of Texas Conference and written articles for publications including the Library of Professional Psychology. In her spare time, Brigitte loves dogs, hiking, and painting.
